My blog writing still hasn't caught up with our speed of travel, and there is little hope that I will be able to 'get to' where we are right now. With likely no internet for the next couple of days not much will change, but I hope to continue at the beginning of the week.
We stayed in Blythe, California overnight and will be on our way to Yuma in half an hour. This town isn't the most inspiring, but the combination of the Colorado river flats with lush fields of alfalfa and the surrounding mountains is nonetheless interesting. Yesterday afternoon's hike to a native American site still remains on my 'list', as does Death Valley and a couple of other stops.
